Dissemination and collaboration between partners

Florence, Italy The Associazione Trisomia 21 Onlus has published a number, on its courier, concerning the European Erasmus+ Project Campo dei Miracoli. This number was written by the project participants, focusing on the usefulness of it and focusing on the skills acquired during the workshops. After an introduction on the project, the article focuses on the participation in the Jewelery Laboratory, culminating with the production of a gold sequin for Davide Astori . With a view to collaboration and dissemination of the project, the reserved attention is in the sign of a fruitful collaboration between partners. Florence, Italy The Erasmus+ European project “Campo dei Miracoli”, on the occasion of the second Multiplier Event, had the merit of attracting the attention of the TGR, the regional public network of RAI. The video can be seen here. For the occasion, Monica Baldi, President of Associazione Culturale Pinocchio di Carlo Lorenzini , Antonella Falugiani, President of Associazione Trisomia 21 Onlus , Eleonora Pecchioli, President of Associazione per Boboli were interviewed. There was a remarkable attendance at the event, a sign of a heartfelt approval and dissemination of the Erasmus+ Project Campo dei Miracoli.

Multiplier event

Florence, Italy Tuesday 2 October 2018 at 4.30 pm the second multiplier project event was held in Florence at the Giardino Torrigiani. The meeting, entitled “Beauty and usefulness: the double soul of historic gardens”, provided the opportunity to present the progress of the European project “Campo dei Miracoli” and the outputs so far achieved in enhancing the productive dimension of historic gardens through workshops and experiential visits aimed at people with Down Syndrome and other physical or intellectual disabilities. European Heritage Days 2018

Florence, Italy On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2018, another of the experiential visits planned for the European project Campo dei Miracoli took place at the Boboli Gardens. The participants were able to discover the wonders of the garden and the lesser-known corners, such as the pomarium and the vineyard, which handed down the agricultural and productive vocation of the garden and preserve those ancient and rare varieties of fruits already recorded, between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries , in the botanical inventories of Pier Antonio Micheli and in the most famous still lifes of the painter Bartolomeo Bimbi.

Botanical goldsmith workshop”Albero degli Zecchini”

Florence, Italy Thanks to the help of LAO – Le Arti Orafe Jewellery School, the botanical jewelery workshop has begun. The worskhop will involve some participants in jewelery and medals crafting inspired by plants, flowers and fruits grown in the gardens. During the first meeting, participants have drawn some botanical sketches, the future mold models (made of plasticine or wax) for the fusion of the first golden sequins.
