Florence, Italy

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2018, another of the experiential visits planned for the European project Campo dei Miracoli took place at the Boboli Gardens.

The participants were able to discover the wonders of the garden and the lesser-known corners, such as the pomarium and the vineyard, which handed down the agricultural and productive vocation of the garden and preserve those ancient and rare varieties of fruits already recorded, between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries , in the botanical inventories of Pier Antonio Micheli and in the most famous still lifes of the painter Bartolomeo Bimbi.
