Florence, Italy Thanks to LAO – Le Arti Orafe Jewellery School, botanical goldsmith’s workshop continues. The students involved in the project continue to practice modeling the plasticine casts with which the gold sequins inspired by flowers and fruits will be coined, while the team of journalistic editors of the Corriere di Trisomia 21 visited the laboratories and classrooms of the school to prepare interviews and articles with which to promote ongoing activities. Horticulture workshop

Florence, Italy Thanks to Istituto Tecnico Agrario di Firenze, a new and interesting horticultural laboratory has begun, with participants with Down Syndrome engaged in lectures and practical exercises to learn how to take care of gardens. To encourage a real process of inclusion, the students of the Institute will also attend to the workshops and the Associazione Cooperativa Scolastica “Ortisti per caso” which, since 2016, works to experience new methods of sustainable cultivation and to promote youth entrepreneurship by involving students in initiatives designed to encourage their professional integration. In the last meeting, the participants have ventured into with the modeling of plasticine casts with which gold sequins will be coined inspired by flowers and fruits seen during the activities in the garden and in the vegetable garden. Hortoterapeutic Workshop “Paese dei Barbagianni”

Florence, Italy The meetings of the “Paese dei Barbagianni” workshop continue at Giardino dell’Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella To welcome the spring, after a nice walk in search of seasonal flowers and scents, the participants involved in the project have ventured into the potting of tomatoes and zucchini that, once grown, will be planted in the garden. “Paese dei Barbagianni” Workshop

Florence, Italy Meetings of Paese dei Barbagianni workshop still continue at Giardino dell’Officina Profumo – Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella. Despite the cold weather, after a nice walk in the orchard to see the first trees in bloom, the participants of the workshop have pruned the olive trees.
